We breed elite huacaya alpacas, and our bloodlines include such legendary sires and dams as Hemingway, Vengador, Royal Fawn, Snowmass Millennium, Quetzal, Mr. President, Legacy, Nautilus, Felix, Augusto, Donovan, 007, Bella Bianca and Charming Way, as well as impressive up-and-comers like Sunset Hills Golden Thunder, Snowmass Alpine King, Sunny Mesa's Tuscan Gold and Shiftin Gears.

WHEN?

Snow Diamond Alpacas was started in 2008.

Visitors to Snow Diamond Alpacas are invited to enjoy the breathtaking mountain scenery, renown winter and summer recreational offerings and unparalleled hospitality of beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The town -- which is often called "Ski Town USA" -- is located in the upper valley of the Yampa River along US Highway 40 just west of the Contnental Divide at Rabbit Ears Pass. We recognize that at the end of the day, our goal is to produce exceptional fiber. To that end, we breed for alpacas that give us improved and sustained fiber fineness, character and density with each generation.
